This new extended edition of A Boatbuilder's Story by Percy Mitchell has been re-published for the first time since 1968.

It features a new layout and beautifully restored images including many new ones, previously unseen.

There are also new chapters written by Percy's son, Gary Mitchell, an internationally respected boat designer in his own right, called a 'A Boat Designer's Story'. It concludes the story of the Portmellon yard up to its closure in 1983, thirteen years after Percy's death, and then continues with the story of Gary's designs.

It's a larger format than the original at 17 x 24.5cm.
